Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 6 teaspoons (2 Tablespoons) cajun seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, optional
  • 2 tablespoons butter, optional
  • 2 cups (1 pint) heavy whipping cream
  • 1 box pasta (usually linguine or fettucine)

Directions

  1. Place chicken, cajun seasoning, pepper, green onion, tomatoes, and garlic into medium (cold) saucepan. Bring pan to medium heat while stirring to coat chicken with seasoning.
  2. Once chicken is cooked through, add heavy cream and heat through.
  3. Serve over hot pasta.
