Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounce whiskey
  • 3/4 oz Averna amaro
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters
  • 1 dash orange bitters

According to Imbibe Magazine, the Black Manhattan was created by bartender Todd Smith when he worked at San Francisco’s Bourbon & Branch. I’m making a 3/4-size version here so that it fits nicely into the cups that I want to serve it in.
